for: Managers and team leaders who are responsible
for the delivery of services to the public, and who need to
explore in some depth the implications of Part III (the goods,
facilities and services section) of the DDA for their service
delivery area.
Brief
Description: This one-day workshop focuses on Part
III (the goods, facilities and services section) of the DDA,
and examines it's practical application to the development,
management and delivery of services to the public. It will
give managers and team leaders who are responsible for customer
service, the opportunity to assess current provision against
the requirements of the Act. It will enable them to identify
ways of making services more accessible and putting systems
in place, including quality monitoring procedures, to ensure
current and future compliance with the law.
